An Introduction to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Webinar
Every other month I present a training through TZK seminars entitled, “An Introduction to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.” Attendees will gain an overview of child trauma, review the definition of child abuse, and discuss the common reactions that children have to trauma. An overview of Trauma-Focused CBT will be given as well, including its specific components, real life examples of commonly used therapeutic activities, and the evidence for why this approach works. At the end of the training, attendees will be provided with the next step to get certified in TF-CBT. Please note, this is an introductory overview course of a child focused treatment and does not qualify for TF-CBT certification.

Consultations for Gamete or Embryo Donation
Fertility Clinics require anyone using a gamete or embryo donor to complete a psychoeducation consultation. This consultation is typically one session for 60-90 minutes. It includes such topics as psychosocial and fertility history, reason for using a donor, managing stress during the fertility journey and helpful resources for the future. The benefits of a psychoeducational consultation are that these services often lead to better decision making, better understanding of the potential issues in family building/planning and discussions about specific concerns such as finding a donor, donor siblings and disclosing to your future child and family. The psychoeducational consultations I provide are based on ASRM guidelines.
